Villa Zeytinkaya occupies an enviable location overlooking Kalkan harbour

It is within a five minute walk into the town.
Set into the rocks and reached by a private driveway, it boasts spectacular panoramic views of the town and the bay of Kalkan.

The gardens surrounding the villa are beautiful and include olive, banana, orange, lemon and lime trees. To the rear of the property steps take you up to an amazing vantage point.

There is also a shaded dining area on the ground floor terrace/balcony. The barbeque area has it’s own bar complete with thatched roof. Next to the bar there is a waterfall flowing into a fishpond. There are sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols around the pool terrace and towels are provided for the pool. A shower is also located by the pool area.

Kalkan – The town has many restaurants and bars to suit all price ranges ensuring that you will be spoilt for choice. There is also an abundance of shops selling Glassware, ceramics and antiquities as well as superb leather goods. On Thursdays each week there is a big local market where you can stock up on everything from fruit and vegetables to nuts and herbs. The market also sells clothing, carpets, leather goods, embroidery, linen etc.

The people of Kalkan and surrounding areas are extremely friendly and you will be made very welcome. Many of the local supermarkets will deliver groceries directly to the villa.

Coast/Beach – The villa is located just above the small beach at Kalkan. This beach is made up of pebbles. The famous Patara beach is 20 minutes drive away and there is a local bus service there during the day. Also Kaptus beach is 10 minutes drive away. There is a beach club nearby offering a full programme of water sports. There are also boat trips available every day from Kalkan to various places.

Places of interest – The spectacular Taurus Mountain region is approximately 15 minutes drive away. The next town of Kas is 30 minutes and there is a regular bus service. Kas is larger than Kalkan and has many interesting antique shops. Fethiye, which is en route from the airport, is one hour away and has many shops. Walking the Lycian Way is a particular attraction of the area and local sightseeing is well worth a visit.
